1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

A narrative painting to represent the beauty and pain of love. The focus of the message being centered on the couple embracing one another uncovered, unguarded, and vulnerable. They represent the comfort love brings, the grace love requires to allow room for the other to grow & the strength it takes to be vulnerable with one another.

And just like the thorn serves a rose, we can often get hurt in learning to love someone. But just as the rose began as a small bud and eventually blossoms into a beautiful flower, love as we know it is perfected over time. Nothing worthwhile will come easy or quickly. But day by day, given the right attention and as each one learns to yield to the other they allow love to grow stronger and deeper.
